Your blessings count.

I’m thankful for...

being alive, and thankful for all the doctors and nurses who didn’t give up on me when they thought I had died. I’m grateful for all the aides and housekeepers who saw to my cleanliness, comfort and needs; for the comfort given to my family when all seemed fatal; for the quiet aide who, while changing my sheets, stopped to hold my hand and pray with me; for the patience of those who tolerated my family and friends as they crowded around my bed and didn’t try to throw them out; for the transporters who saw to it I was moved from one place to another without wrecking me, (better drivers than I, that’s for sure); and I am especially thankful to God for allowing me the opportunity to experience such kindness and MERCY.
