Your blessings count.

I’m thankful for...

I’m thankful for many things this holiday season my kids, my husband, my parents etc. But the special blessing I want to share is the birth of my baby girl on January this year. I got pregnant with an Iud no one was sure I would keep the pregnancy. Then I saw the specialist to take it out putting me at a 50/50 change of miscarriage. When I got to his office he could not see the iud therefore, nothing to do but to continue the pregnancy. I heard and read about horror stories about women losing their babies about 20 weeks pregnant. I even took care of a patient that this happened to her at 18 weeks, when I was only 16 weeks and wondering. At 29 weeks I was dilated 3 cm and put on bed rest, I remained on bed rest for 11 weeks with my family far away. At 39 weeks she was born healthy and full term; my uterus had a large window in it. Even bedrest was such a Wonderful blessing. I delivered my little blessing at a mercy hospital surrounded by not only coworkers but friends. God Has a plan and he delivered me and my Precious little miracle.
