20+ years more life after my first stage IV cancer diagnosis when I was in my mid-20’s. A life that has been filled with many blessings including my husband of 12 years and 2 beautiful, adopted children. But by the grace of God delivered through the healing hands of many wonderful medical professionals.

Doctors and staff to care for us when we hurt. Mercy has had a special place in my heart since my appendix ruptured in 1979 and the surgeons and staff saved my life.

The wonderful surgeons being able to successfully perform my Momma’s total hip replacement surgery. Everyone throughout the hospital was so kind!! They treated her, us (the family), and all of the visitors so loving. I especially enjoyed being in the room when her doctor, all of the nurses, and the physical therapists were there! Another thing I’ll always remember is one of the kind hospital “corporate” men all suited all, coming up to me checking on me, asking how I am, and how the patient I’m here for is doing. 🙂

Heavenly Father giving us the ability to heal in so many ways.

I have a severe wound on most of my leg and it has been amazing to see how Heavenly Father saw to make it self-healing. Every day it heals just a bit, and gives me just a bit more hope and a little less pain. I would not have thought to make our bodies do this. I am certainly glad HE did!

Thank you Heavenly Father for all your gifts, especially the ones we never hope to need!
